Emily Marshall is an experienced epidemiologist currently working at El Paso County Public Health since August 2021. Prior to this role, Emily served as Epidemiologist II at the Delaware Division of Public Health from May 2018 to August 2021, leading programs focused on enteric and tick-borne infectious diseases and contributing to multistate foodborne disease outbreak investigations with federal and state partners. Emily also held the role of Epidemiologist I, where responsibilities included managing enteric disease outbreaks and responding to the Delaware COVID-19 State of Emergency. Earlier experience includes a Health Educator/Trainer role at the Delaware Division of Public Health, where educational programs on Lyme Disease were developed and presented to over 6,500 participants, along with internships at the Allentown Health Bureau and Westside Family Healthcare. Emily holds a Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's degree in Health Behavior Science from the same institution.
