Analía Plaza

Analía Plaza is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various media outlets. Currently serving as a reporter for El Periódico de España since September 2021, Analía specializes in the Reports section. Previously, Analía worked at eldiario.es from October 2018 to September 2021, contributing to the Madrid and Economy sections and coauthoring the internationally awarded project "Spain Lives in Flats." This project garnered multiple accolades, including Best Data Visualisation at the Digital Media Awards and recognition from the Royal Statistical Society Journalism Awards. Analía has also held positions at Business Insider España, El Confidencial, and Diario EL PAÍS, among others. Educationally, Analía holds a Licentiate degree in Journalism from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has studied Communications at the University of Antwerp and International Relations at Wake Forest University.
