Gabby Duran Ramírez Sphr

Gabby Duran Ramírez SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources, spanning various industries and leadership roles. Gabby Duran is currently the Human Resources Director at El Pollo Loco, Inc., where they lead a team in supporting initiatives for a large quick-service restaurant company. Prior to this, Gabby was the Vice President of Human Resources at Bay City Electric Works, overseeing HR functions across multiple locations. Gabby Duran also served as the Director of Human Resources at KIPP SoCal Public Schools and Vallarta Supermarkets, where they implemented strategic HR practices and fostered collaboration. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Manager/Director of Human Resources at Southern California Material Handling and worked as the Talent Development Manager and Sr. Human Resources Manager at Bodega Latina Corporation. Throughout their career, Gabby has demonstrated expertise in HR operations, employee relations, policy development, performance management, and talent development.

Gabby Duran Ramírez SPHR, SHRM-SCP holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Southern California and Chapman University. Gabby Duran also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from California State University, Los Angeles. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification. Gabby has also completed additional certifications in Workforce Analytics and Risk Management through HRCI.
