Monica Soares

Monica Soares is an experienced Language Learning Coordinator at ELAM since January 2016, specializing in teaching and planning English and Portuguese lessons, conducting placement testing, and developing mentorship programs. In addition to roles at ELAM, Monica has also been a private English and Portuguese teacher since 2013 and has taught at Adelante Brasil Learning Center and FOX Idiomas. Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Applied Linguistics from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and advanced qualifications, including a CELTA and a postgraduate degree in Portuguese as a Foreign Language.
