Savio D'Souza

Savio D'Souza has extensive experience in the field of human resources, with a career spanning over 15 years. Savio'smost recent position was as the Head of Human Resources at Elara Capital, where they started in December 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at SBI Capital Markets from February 2020 to December 2020. From 2017 to 2020, Savio held the position of Head of Human Resources at the Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Ltd. Savio also served as the Head of Human Resources for Anand Rathi from 2014 to 2017, and for Prabhudas Lilladher in 2013. Savio has experience as an entrepreneur, having founded and operated their own graphic design and gifting enterprise called SD DesignScapes from 2011 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked in various human resources roles, including Vice President at Kantilal Chhaganlal Securities Pvt. Ltd. from 2009 to 2011, Manager at Avendus Capital from 2007 to 2009, Manager at Mirae Asset Global Investment Management India Pvt. Ltd. in 2007, and Manager of Human Resources and Administration at B&K Securities India Pvt. Ltd. from 2006 to 2007. Throughout their career, Savio has demonstrated expertise in areas such as policy development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, manpower planning, HRIS, litigation handling, and employee engagement.

Savio D'Souza began their education at DeepVihar, where they completed their SSC in an unspecified field of study in 1992. Savio then attended Fr. Agnel Junior College, Pilar from 1992 to 1994, earning their HSSC in Science. In 1994, they enrolled at Dhempe College of Arts & Science and Goa University, where they pursued a BSc degree in Geology, completing it in 2000. Finally, from 2002 to 2004, Savio attended the Goa Institute of Management (GIM), where they obtained a PGDBM degree with a focus on Marketing & Human Resources.
