Paul Olson

Paul Olson has extensive experience in the technology and software industry. Paul is currently working as the Vice President of Solutions Engineering at Elastic Path since 2023. Before that, they held various leadership positions at Salesforce from 2016 to 2023, including the roles of Vice President - Commerce Cloud Solution Engineering and Senior Director - Commerce Cloud Solution Engineering Global Leader. At Salesforce, they spearheaded go-to-market plans, led sales engineering teams, and engaged cross-functional teams to sell the business and technical advantages of Salesforce offerings.

Prior to Salesforce, Paul worked at Demandware from 2007 to 2016, where they served as the Director of North America Sales Engineering and Sales Engineer Manager, among other roles. Paul managed sales engineering teams, supported large deals, and focused on competitive differentiation. Before Demandware, they worked as a Senior Product Consultant at Escalate Retail and Blue Martini Software.

Paul's career began at Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Consultant from 1995 to 1998. Paul also worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at a Technology Solutions Company from 1998 to 1999.

Paul Olson earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Accounting from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1990 and 1995.
