Jared Carey

Jared Carey is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and video engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Elastic since January 2016, Jared has also held the role of Principal Support Engineer in the same company. Prior to this, Jared worked at Verizon as a Senior Video Engineer from February 2014 to December 2015, a position acquired through Intel. Jared's career includes experience at Intel Corporation as a Senior Video Engineer, Microsoft as a Systems Engineer, as well as early roles at DextriMedia, Inc. as a Video Compression Engineer and at Wolf Electric as an Electrician.
