Lalit Satapathy

Lalit Satapathy is an experienced software engineering leader with a strong background in observability, cloud solutions, and EDA tools. Currently serving as Team Lead and Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Elastic since February 2022, Lalit focuses on observability ingestion and integrations, including OpenTelemetry and time series databases. Prior roles include VP of Engineering at Episilia, where Lalit led the development of cloud log management solutions, and Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation, overseeing static check tools. Lalit's career also includes positions as Senior Staff Manager at Qualcomm and CAD Manager at NVIDIA, where contributions spanned automation and team development. Earlier experiences at LSI Logic and Wipro further established a foundation in EDA software and hardware projects. Lalit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from NIT-Rourkela.
