Michael Dokolin

Michael Dokolin is a Principal Software Engineer at Elastic since March 2021, previously holding the same title at Bloomreach from September 2018 to March 2021, where design and development of product frontend architecture based on modern JavaScript frameworks were key contributions. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at Starred and Upwork, where efforts focused on product scalability, reliability, and user behavior analysis. Michael also has experience as an Independent Contractor and as CEO/Tech Lead for Gudok LLC, co-founding a startup dedicated to VoIP-PBX development. Additional experience includes teaching programming to schoolchildren and full-stack development in prior positions at Dextra LLC and General Telecom LLC. Michael holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from South Ural State University.
