Colin Thomas

Colin Thomas has a diverse work experience. From 2013 onwards, they have been working at Elder Research, Inc., starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to Senior Software Engineer, Manager of Software Development, and currently serving as the Director of Software Development. Prior to that, Colin worked as a Photographer at Colin Thomas Photography from 2008 to 2014. Before pursuing a career in photography, they worked at M-CAM, Inc. from 2003 to 2013, initially as a Special Information Projects Analyst and later as the IT Group Coordinator.

Colin Thomas completed their education at the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Master of Engineering (ME) degree in Systems Engineering from the same university, attending from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, Colin obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2019.
