Soheil Moosavi

Soheil Moosavi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Soheil is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at Elder Research, where they are responsible for leading data science projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist Team Lead at GovCIO, where they delivered predictive modeling and data-driven business intelligence solutions for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. At Accenture, Soheil held the roles of Principal/Manager Data Scientist, where they implemented data science solutions for Fortune 100 clients, and Lead Data Scientist, where they provided consulting services to clients in various sectors. Before that, they worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital as a Data Scientist (Full-Stack), where they performed market research, developed and deployed machine learning models, and led cross-functional R&D teams. Soheil also worked as an NLP & Big Data Specialist at the same organization. Soheil's earlier experience includes working as an AI Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and as a Biostatistics Intern at Mayo Clinic. Soheil started their career as a Freelance Web Designer and Search Engine Developer.

Soheil Moosavi holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they completed in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from Shahed University in 2011. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including Product Management from LinkedIn and MLOps Platforms: Amazon SageMaker and Azure ML from Duke University, both obtained in 2023. In 2022, they received the AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Their AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate certification was obtained from A Cloud Guru in 2020. Soheil Moosavi also possesses certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning from Soothsayer Analytics in 2017, Apache Spark from Databricks in 2015, and Big Data from TechCon in 2014.
