Richard Vass, CPTD has extensive work experience in the learning and development field. Richard began their career at Discover Financial Services, where they served as the National Curriculum Design Manager from 1991 to 2004. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing national curriculum for new hire programs and utilized web-based training and instructor-led training.
In 2004, Richard joined impact Solutions as President, specializing in consulting, training delivery, and instructional design for various clients. Richard partnered with leaders in the professional learning services field and provided customized solutions for clients such as Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, and Boeing, among others.
Richard became part of the eLearning Brothers team in 2012, initially serving as the Director of Custom Development, where they led the creation of dynamic and engaging eLearning courses tailored to clients' needs. Richard then transitioned to the role of Director of Customer Relationships in 2014, where they managed a team responsible for scoping client needs and collaborated with sales personnel to develop custom projects. In 2020, Richard was promoted to Vice President of Customer Success and, most recently, took on the role of Vice President of Learning Solutions, leading initiatives to refine and extend learning and development solutions for clients.
Additionally, Richard worked as a Consultant at Quick Wins from 2013 to 2021, providing expertise in the learning and development field.
Throughout their career, Richard Vass has demonstrated a strong track record of designing and implementing innovative training solutions for organizations of all sizes, utilizing a mix of modern learning tools and approaches to enhance learning engagement.
Richard Vass, CPTD, completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1992 to 1996, they attended Salt Lake Community College, where they obtained an Associates degree in Finance. Following this, from 1998 to 2003, they enrolled in the University of Phoenix, focusing on Business Information Systems.
In addition to their formal education, Richard has also acquired certifications in the field of talent development. In October 2008, they obtained the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). In the same year, in November, they acquired the Certified Professional in Talent Development certification from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute.
