George Korakas

George Korakas has worked in the IT industry since 2008. In 2013, they began working as a Computer Engineer and Web Developer at Data Communication Systems, where they configured routers to work as social hotspots and developed mobile-friendly landing pages. At the same time, they worked as a Software Engineer at the National Bank of Greece, developing a tailor-made CRM platform and an internet banking application. In 2016, they moved to Q-navada as a Web Developer, coding in PHP, HTML, CSS (LESS, SASS), JS, and the Bootstrap framework. George also worked with Drupal & Joomla CMSs and custom web applications in the Laravel framework. In 2017, they joined eLearningIndustry as a Front End Lead, responsible for the front end of all applications and websites. George managed a team of web developers, web designers, and UX experts, making technical decisions to ensure the company applications were performant and scalable. George also held the role of Technical Project Manager. In addition, they have also worked as a Freelance Web Developer, coding in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JS, and involved with Ecommerce, CMS platforms, and PHP frameworks.

George Korakas attended Piraeus University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2015, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Software Development, Networking, Hardware and Sound Engineering, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence.
