Jason Mortimer has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1995 with Recycling Resource as their Vice President of Business Development. In 2000, they moved to Environmental News Network / Groupstone as the Director of Corporate Development. In 2005, they joined Booz & Co. as a Senior Associate in their Energy Chemicals and Utilities Practice. In 2007, they began working at BP as a Contract Strategic Project Manager for BP Africa. In 2009, they became an Energy Strategy Consultant in Mbabane, Swaziland. In 2010, they started at SunPower Corporation, where they held various roles, including Senior Director of Enterprise Accounts (F-500), Senior Director of Global Strategy and Business Development, and Director of Customer Finance and BD. In 2019, they moved to LevelTen Energy as VP of Sales, where they led an origination team that helped companies find, evaluate and transact off-site wind and solar energy projects. Finally, in 2020, they joined the Edmund Hillary Fellowship (EHF) as a Fellow. In 2022, they began working at Electric Hydrogen Co. as their Senior Vice President of Global Sales.

Jason Mortimer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology and Sustainable Development from Duke University between 1990 and 1994. Jason also earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2004, as well as an MBA from University of Chicago in 2002, both in Business Administration.
