Paul Hanson

Paul Hanson has an extensive work experience in the entertainment and media industry. Paul is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Annapurna since March 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded Electric Monster in 2021 and served as a board member. Paul was also a co-founder, board member, and former Chief Executive Officer at Capacitor Studios starting from August 2019. From 2015 to 2019, Paul was the Chief Executive Officer at Covert Media. Paul held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Annapurna Pictures from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer at QED International, LLC from 2005 to 2012. Paul has also worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Key Creatives from 2004 to 2005. Paul started their career at Decibel, LLC as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning at Artisan Entertainment from 1999 to 2002. Paul began their professional journey as a Senior Analyst at Broadview International from 1996 to 1999.

Paul Hanson attended Princeton University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) degree. Their field of study was Civil Engineering and Operations Research.
