Christopher Stroud began their work experience in 2007 with an internship at GE. In 2008, they joined Progress Energy as a Rotating Component Engineer and later became an Emergency Diesel System Engineer. In 2011, Stroud joined Electric Motor & Contracting Co., Inc as the Nuclear Contaminated Equipment Service Center Manager and Engineering Director. In 2014, they took on the role of Pump Division Manager at the same company.
Christopher Stroud obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications such as Smartsheet Product Certified User from Smartsheet, obtained in January 2021, and the 2013 NBIC Part3 Exam v14 from The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel inspectors, obtained in March 2015.
