Micah Sweeney

Micah Sweeney is a Technical Leader at EPRI since June 2012, specializing in the evaluation of customer technologies through laboratory testing and field monitoring, with a focus on Data Centers, Commercial HVAC, Variable Refrigerant Flow, Demand Response with HVAC, Thermal Energy Storage, Breweries, Motors & Drives, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Computer Power Supplies, Cryptocurrency Mining, and Blockchain. Prior to this role, Micah served as a Project Engineer/Scientist III at EPRI and gained experience as a Graduate Student Intern and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee. Micah also held positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Laboratory/Field Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
