Ryan Tran

Ryan Tran is an accomplished software developer with extensive experience in web and desktop application development. At EPRI since February 2021, Ryan has led the creation of multiple applications that improve software license management, energy source comparison, and data communication. Previous roles include Associate Software Developer, where Ryan built a unified access control framework and developed tools for nuclear fuel inspections, and Student Software Developer, creating apps for quality assurance in reactor simulations. Prior to EPRI, Ryan contributed as a Front-End Developer at MediRev Solutions and as a Developer Connection Intern at Samsung Electronics America. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering with a Data Science specialization and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Jose State University, along with an Associate in Science for Transfer from De Anza College.
