Dan McKinley

Dan McKinley is an accomplished engineering professional with a robust background in energy systems and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Test Engineer and Safety Manager at Electrified Thermal Solutions since October 2022, Dan has previously worked as a Project Engineer at Demand Management Institute and contributed significantly to academia as a PhD Candidate at The University of Edinburgh, where research focused on gas-liquid interactions in thermal energy storage systems. With diverse experience spanning internships at GE Power & Water, GE Transportation, and other organizations, Dan has honed expertise in project management, technical support, and innovative engineering solutions. Dan holds a PhD in Energy Storage / Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
