Heshmat Kianfar

Heshmat Kianfar has extensive experience in project engineering, with a career spanning from 1981 to the present. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Electro-Motive Diesel, Heshmat Kianfar specializes in designing and coordinating locomotive electrical systems for new locomotives. In addition, Heshmat Kianfar has held senior project engineering roles at both Electro-Motive Canada and Electro-Motive Diesel Brasil, alongside previous experience designing electrical control systems for an oil refinery at Daw Chemical, Shell Canada. Heshmat Kianfar holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Jundishahpour University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, focusing on high voltage and power transmission, from the University of San Carlos.
