Josh Humphries

Josh Humphries is a Technical Services Engineer at EMD (Electro-Motive Diesel) since May 2021, with a diverse background in engineering and maintenance. Prior roles include TRI/Line of Route Technician at Stadler, Test Technician/TRI at CAF Rail UK, and Test Technician at Hitachi Rail Europe. Previous experience also encompasses working as a Maintenance Electrician at Liberty Steel Products and Tata Steel, and an earlier role as a Train Rider at BOMBARDIER. Josh began the career as an Electrical Apprentice at Tata Steel, earning an NVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance and gaining hands-on experience across various plants. Educationally, Josh attended John Leggott College in Scunthorpe, completing a BTEC Level 3 and AS Levels in IT, Electronics, and Design.
