Dag Helland-Hansen

Dag Helland-Hansen serves as the EVP Global Sales and Marketing and Executive Advisor for Global Exploration at Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA since March 2018, overseeing business development and consultancy in oil and gas exploration. Prior experience includes roles such as Executive President for Africa, Europe & Middle East at EMGS ASA, Manager of License Rounds and Business Development Evaluations at Aker BP ASA, and Exploration Manager at Svenska Petroleum Exploration AB and Idemitsu Norge. Dag's expertise in exploration management stems from significant tenures at Chevron and PGS Reservoir, along with various consulting roles. Educational credentials include an MSc in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from Heriot-Watt University and an MSc in Geology and Geophysics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
