Stephen P. Carmody

Stephen P. Carmody is a seasoned professional in the field of lighting design and project management, currently serving as a Project Manager for Research & Development for Arch and Entertainment Luminaires at Electronic Theatre Controls since September 2017. In this role, Stephen oversees multidisciplinary teams involved in the development of lighting fixtures and controls, adhering to ISO 9000 guidelines for both hardware and software processes. Prior to this position, Stephen worked at Adlai E. Stevenson High School from September 2000 to June 2017 as a Designer and Technical Director for Fine Arts, where responsibility included the design and execution of sets, props, and sound and lighting designs for theatrical productions. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/English and a Master's degree in English with a concentration in Modern Drama and Writing from Eastern Illinois University.
