Sharmene Syversen

Sharmene Syversen is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as the Director of R&D at EFI since August 2012, where management of an engineering team focuses on product development for industrial inkjet printing presses. Previously, Sharmene held various roles at Eastman Kodak from January 1999 to July 2012, including Senior Development & Test Engineer, contributing to the launch of Kodak's first home inkjet printer, and Senior Research Engineer, involved in the development of new applications within roll-to-roll manufacturing. Early career experience includes positions as a Controls Engineer at General Motors and a Research Assistant at Western University, working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Sharmene holds a PhD, MESc, and BESc in Electrical Engineering from Western University.
