Sol Goldenberg

Sol Goldenberg has extensive experience in printer technology development, currently serving as Director of PDL and Cloud Development at EFI since October 1997, where core elements of printer technology have been designed, implemented, and maintained. Goldenberg has directed multiple engineering teams across diverse fields, including full-stack web development and advanced color technology. Previous roles include Director of PDL Engineering, where leadership was provided for teams developing technologies for EFI’s primary product, Fiery, and Manager of PDL Development, overseeing projects related to PCL, XPS, and PostScript clone RIPs. Prior to EFI, Goldenberg worked at Pipeline Associates as Software Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to key interpreter developments for OEM customers. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Master's in Developmental Psychology from Yeshiva University, a Master's degree in Computer Science from City University of New York, and a Bachelor's degree in History and Psychology from the University at Albany.
