Ian Nixon

Ian Nixon has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 2002 as an Audit Senior at Meredith Harington Chartered Accountants. Ian then worked as a Management Accountant for eRevenue at Syntell (PTY) Ltd. After that, they served as a Financial Officer at Community Media Trust and as an Audit Manager at IC Mackay and Associates. In 2011, they became a Group Project Accountant at Amdec Group, followed by a role as Group Accountant at Spire Property Management. In 2012, they joined MDA Property Systems and MRI Software as a Manager in Finance & Operations. Since 2019, Ian has been working at Electrum, initially as a Finance Specialist, then as a Finance Executive, and currently as the Head of Finance.

Ian Nixon is currently pursuing a degree in European Business Strategy at the Rennes School of Business, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Ian is also a candidate for an MBA at the Stellenbosch Business School, with a completion date in 2022. Ian holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Management and Administration from the Stellenbosch Business School, which they obtained in 2020. Ian Nixon has also studied Operations Management at the University of Cape Town and Accounting and Auditing at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, although specific years of study are not provided for these degrees. In addition, they completed a post-matric program in Accounting and Economics at Bishops Diocesan College and received a Matric degree from Wynberg Boys' High School.

Furthermore, Ian Nixon has obtained a certification in Scotwork Advancing Negotiation Skills from Scotwork in November 2021.
