Liqiang Ren began their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant at \u590d\u65e6\u5927\u5b66, where they developed bio-sensors based on Optofluidic Ring Laser. In 2014, they joined Penn State University as a Research Assistant, where they conducted research on Microfluidic Devices and Micro/nano Active Matter. Liqiang designed and fabricated several lab-on-chip devices, and discovered and developed innovative functions and biomimicry behaviors. Liqiang also served as a Teaching Assistant. In 2019, they joined Complete Genomics Inc. as a Staff Microfluidic R&D Engineer and a Senior Microfluidic Engineer. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Microfluidic Engineer at ELEGEN.
Liqiang Ren attended Harbin Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Optics/Optical Sciences. Liqiang then attended Fudan University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Optics/Optical Sciences. Liqiang is currently a PhD Candidate at Penn State University.
