Alain Minoz has worked at Elekta since 1999, starting as an Electronics Engineer and later transitioning to a Principal Engineer role. In their current position as a Design Lead and Senior electronics architect, they are responsible for the electronics of a new platform of Linac products. Prior to this, they served as a Product Owner and electronics architect for the Patient Positioning System of Unity and as a Design Lead for the electronics of the Leksell Gamma Knife Icon. Before joining Elekta, they worked as an Electronics Engineer at Medtronic from 1997 to 1998.
Alain Minoz completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université de Savoie, Annecy, from 1984-1986. Alain then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics (DEUG A) from Université de Savoie, Chambéry, from 1986-1987. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Institut Joseph Fourrier, Grenoble, from 1987-1990. Alain Minoz also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance, obtained in May 2018.
