Lukas Kaufmann

Lukas Kaufmann possesses extensive experience in project management and engineering, particularly in network control, telecontrol technology, and PLC programming. Currently, at Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich (EKZ), Lukas manages projects with a significant budget and oversees multiple sub-projects, including a long-term FTT-TS initiative. Previous roles include project management and PLC programming at Polytech Systeme AG and Bergauer AG, where Lukas worked on diverse projects such as retrofitting control systems and developing management systems for major infrastructure projects. With a strong educational foundation in electrical engineering and automation from institutions including the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, Lukas also gained practical skills early in the career as a switchboard mechanic.
