Bernd Hardung

Bernd Hardung has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bernd began their career as a Vacation Job trainee at Maul-Belser in 2000, followed by a similar position at Beneke-Lepsinger Unternehmensberatung in 1999. In 1998, they worked as a Trainee at Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern. In 2001, they joined Siemens Malaysia as a Trainee. Bernd then pursued a PhD at Audi AG from 2002 to 2006. Bernd later served as a University Lecturer at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen from 2009 to 2010, teaching an AUTOSAR-Praktikum course. Between 2006 and 2022, Bernd worked at Elektrobit in various roles, including Senior Quality Engineer, Senior Project Manager, Director, and Vice President. Throughout their tenure, they handled program and project management responsibilities, conducted trainings, published technical articles, and supported sales by presenting products and development processes.

Bernd Hardung completed their education with a General qualification for university entry from Wolfgang-Borchert Gymnasium Langenzenn in 1997. Bernd then pursued a degree in Communications Engineering at Georg-Simon-Ohm-Fachhochschule Nürnberg from 1998 to 2002. Later, they earned a Doctor of Engineering Sciences (PhD) degree in Computer Science from Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen between 2002 and 2006.
