Clifford Heidel

Clifford Heidel has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Clifford started their career at DSL.Net Inc/MegaPath Inc as a Network Operations Engineer, where they trained and managed a team responsible for maintaining a national multi-vendor ATM backbone network. Clifford then moved on to MegaPath Inc., where they served as the Manager of the Advanced Services Network Operations Center, overseeing proactive monitoring of clients' secure network connections. Clifford also worked as the Manager of the Voice & Data Technical Assistance Center, providing support for VoIP and network troubleshooting.

In 2012, Clifford joined DoubleHorn as the Director of Network Operations & Service Delivery, focusing on delivering high-speed data and VoIP services to customers in the Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio areas. Clifford then transitioned to a role at MegaPath, where they became the Advanced Services Network Operations Center & Tier III Manager, responsible for supporting national retail and private industry clients on a national private carrier network.

Clifford's next venture was at PCM Inc., where they served as a Pre-Sales HP Certified Server & Storage Engineer & General Technologist. Here, they specialized in SAN design and implementation, data center switching, and server building for application performance and virtualization using HP server, switch, and SAN product lines.

At Oracle, Clifford worked as a Senior Sales Engineer, specializing in PaaS and IaaS products. Clifford mentored new hires on industry knowledge and solution selling techniques. Clifford also worked as a Senior Cloud Sales Consultant/Cloud Engineer, providing expertise in cloud solutions.

Later, at Forcepoint, Clifford took on the role of Principal Technical Trainer for Global Sales Engineering, where they assessed the team's product competency and developed product-specific informational delivery processes. Their focus was on cybersecurity, covering areas such as web and email security, CASB, NGFW, data loss prevention, and Insider Threat & Intellectual Property Protection.

Clifford then joined vXchnge as a Solutions Architect, where they provided pre-sales technical consulting and aided account executives in presenting product quotes for data center deployments. Currently, they hold the position of Solutions Architect at Element Critical, where they assist with colocation IT planning, power and cooling capacities, connectivity, and data storage and security requirements.

Throughout their career, Clifford has gained extensive experience in sales engineering, technical training, and providing solutions for data center infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Clifford Heidel pursued their education in the field of Telecommunications / IP Networks through Career Certifications, where they completed their Cisco Certifications from 2009 to 2014. In July 2010, they obtained the CCDA and CCENT/CCNA certifications from CISCO. Additionally, they acquired an ATP for HP Servers certification from Pearson VUE, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
