Jamie Brophy

Jamie Brophy, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They started their career as a Strategy Intern at LEVEL5 Strategy Group in 2012.

Afterwards, they worked at BMO Financial Group as a Business Transformation Consultant, where they supported the post-merger integration team for Payments. They were responsible for data analysis, business case development, executive presentation delivery, implementation, and change management, delivering over $2M in cost savings and operational efficiencies.

In 2014, Jamie joined FSM Management Group as a Business Management Associate, where they later became a Senior Manager, Corporate Development. In this role, they supported the CEO and CFO in project-managing the successful raise of over $1B for clients. They also coordinated the development of new service lines, resulting in incremental admin fees of over $500k annually for FSM.

Next, Jamie worked as a Consultant and Advisor for Vacation Fund, collaborating with founders to develop business strategy and helping manage the pivot from B2C to B2B.

In 2021, Jamie joined Paddle HR as a Strategy & Operations Lead, where they analyzed company data to create financial projections, implemented solutions for sales process and revised product offerings, and assisted the CEO with strategic initiatives. They successfully contributed to raising funds and the acquisition of the company.

Jamie then founded Carma Car Advice in 2021, serving as Founder & Principal. They helped customers save time and make informed decisions by identifying the best car suited to their lifestyle, preferences, and budget.

In 2022, Jamie joined Roam as the City Manager & Head of Operations, establishing operational best practices and leading a team responsible for asset management and efficient churn of assets.

Currently, Jamie works at Element Fleet Management as the Strategy Lead since 2023.

Jamie Brophy, MBA has completed an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degree at the Ivey Business School at Western University. They have also obtained a certification in Organizational Leadership from The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School. Furthermore, Jamie has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Additionally, they have certifications in the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from BMO Financial Group.
