Andrew Fowlie

Andrew Fowlie, CEng IMechE, currently serves as a Senior Well Abandonment Engineer at Elemental Energies since June 2023, specializing in the safe and efficient decommissioning of wells while prioritizing cost reduction and environmental care. Prior to this role, Andrew held multiple positions at Well-Safe Solutions from March 2018 to June 2023, including Abandonment Supervisor and Night Abandonment Supervisor, where responsibilities included overseeing Plug and Abandonment campaigns for various well projects. Earlier experience at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited from September 2014 to March 2018 involved wellsite abandonment and intervention engineering. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Decommissioning from the University of Aberdeen and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Robert Gordon University.
