Karl Kivinurm

Karl Kivinurm is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Strategy Manager at Elering since May 2017, contributing to the seamless energy supply in Estonia. In addition to this role, Kivinurm has been an active substitute member of the assembly at ENTSO-E since 2017, engaging in efforts to enhance Europe's electricity system and support decarbonisation goals. Kivinurm also participates as a member of the assembly at ENTSOG since 2019, focusing on competitive market development and security of supply in the gas sector. Previous experience includes roles at Eesti Energia where Kivinurm developed logistics strategies and supported group strategy development, as well as a background in corporate finance consulting at Grant Thornton Rimess Baltic. Kivinurm holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in finance and banking from Estonian Business School.
