Dana Shade

Dana Shade, RN, CPC, CPMA, CRC, COC, AAPC Instructor, currently serves as the GB QM Health Plan Director Senior at Elevance Health, leading quality initiatives for Medicare Advantage products in Indiana and Kentucky. With a strong focus on improving care quality and member satisfaction, Dana has held various leadership roles within Elevance Health, including Director of Quality and Manager II. Experience also includes managing a coding school through Coding Made Simple Academy, and serving as a clinical coder at multiple organizations, including The Coding Network and Capital BlueCross. Dana's extensive background in clinical quality management and auditing began at Highmark Inc., providing education on HEDIS, Risk, and CMS standards. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Arts from Southern New Hampshire University, and an Associate of Science from Excelsior University.
