Lauren Chitty

Lauren Chitty is a seasoned professional in the healthcare and social services industries, currently serving as Program Director for Iowa Medicaid Operations at Elevance Health since July 2017, where responsibilities include project management of provider operational issues. Prior to this, Lauren held the role of Senior Provider Relations Consultant with Amerigroup Iowa, facilitating the implementation of the Iowa Health Link program. Additional experience includes positions at Magellan Behavioral Care of Iowa as a Habilitation Care Worker, overseeing mental health service authorization, and team leadership at Eyerly Ball CMHS. Lauren’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services from Iowa State University and previous studies at Grand View University.
