Jenny Gizzi

Jenny Gizzi has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Jenny is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Elevar Therapeutics since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Vice President of Human Resources from September 2020 to August 2021.

From July 2019 to June 2020, Jenny held the position of Vice President, HR & Corporate Services at Mirati Therapeutics. In this role, they were responsible for leading all facets of Human Resources, including Compliance, Talent, Operations, Compensation, and Culture. Jenny also oversaw site and corporate services, including Employee Communication, Engagement, Facility, and Information Technology.

Before joining Mirati Therapeutics, Jenny worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb for several years in various leadership positions. From August 2017 to July 2019, they served as the Head of Human Resources for the Bay Area, California, and Cambridge, MA regions. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Global Talent for European Markets, Canada, and Australia from July 2015 to August 2017. From October 2011 to June 2015, they were the Head of Global Commercial Talent Acquisition, where they were responsible for developing workforce plans, implementing a recruitment strategy, building succession plans, and managing a team of global talent acquisition managers.

Jenny began their career at Illumina, Inc. in 2006, where they worked as the Head of Global Talent Acquisition until September 2011. During this time, they globalized talent acquisition processes, managed and developed the global talent acquisition team, and implemented hiring strategies and outreach programs.

Prior to their role at Illumina, Jenny worked at Websense, Inc. as a Manager of Talent Acquisition from July 2004 to April 2006. Jenny started their career at Aventis Pharmaceuticals as a Recruiter from May 2000 to December 2002.

Throughout their career, Jenny Gizzi has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, making their a valuable asset to the organizations they have been a part of.

Jenny Gizzi has a background in education, with a focus on Human Resource Management. Jenny attended UC San Diego, where they studied Human Resource Management. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Jenny also participated in an educational program called Up With People, where they were a member of the Cast B 95.
