Douglas Broussard has a diverse work experience that spans from 1997 to the present. Douglas began their career as a Fine Art Landscape Photographer and Writer in 1997. In 2011, they worked as a Technical Writer for both K-3 Enterprises and ICG. In 2012, they worked as a Technical Writer for Anritsu, where they updated and edited VectorStar vector network analyzer product documentation and led an effort to move service documentation to animated 3D models. In 2013, they worked as a Legal and Government Affairs Data Analyst for Black Rock City LLC, managing a migration from paper records to digital storage for contracts and other legal documentation. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Lead Software QA Engineer for Yuzu and a Software QA Engineer for Pinger. In 2017, they worked as a Lead QA Engineer for June, which was acquired by Weber, Inc. Douglas created requirements for June's own OTA service and focused on testing and exploring Android and iOS applications, structured messaging between devices, and embedded device bringup and test development, with a focus on safety and reliability. Finally, in 2023, they began working as a Product Enablement Manager for Elevate Security.
Douglas Broussard attended Fr. Teurlings Catholic High School from 1987 to 1991. Douglas then went on to obtain a BA in English Writing from Loyola University New Orleans from 1991 to 1994. Douglas also attended Louisiana State University, but did not obtain a degree.
