Heidi L. Wagner

Heidi L. Wagner, J.D. has extensive work experience in the field of government affairs and policy. Heidi L. currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Government Affairs at ElevateBio, a technology-driven company focused on cell and gene therapies. In this role, they oversee all government affairs activities.

Prior to their current position, Heidi held several board member roles, including at the University of Colorado Foundation, Wave Life Sciences, and the American Kidney Fund. Heidi L. also served as the Senior Vice President, Government Affairs & Policy at Global Blood Therapeutics from 2018 to 2020.

Heidi's previous experience includes roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Senior Vice President, Global Government Affairs, and at Genentech, Inc. as the Senior Director and Director of Government Affairs. Heidi L. also worked as the Health Policy Director and Consultant at the Healthcare Leadership Council and Independent Consultancy.

Early in their career, Heidi served as a Law Clerk and Associate at Epstein Becker & Green and Groom & Nordberg, where they managed legislative policy interests and was involved in healthcare reform efforts.

Throughout their career, Heidi has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in government affairs, policy development, and stakeholder management.

Heidi L. Wagner, J.D. received their Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School in 1992. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism & Mass Communication (With Honors) from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1986. In addition to their educational background, they are a member of both the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Pennsylvania State Bar Association.
