Dan Mathers

Dan Mathers has worked for several companies since 2005. Dan was the Founding President of Ironbit Consulting Inc. from 2005 to 2013. From 2008 to 2017, they were an Advisor, Investment Accelerator Fund and Senior Investment Director, Investment Accelerator Fund at MaRS Discovery District. Dan was also the CEO-in-Residence at Communitech from 2008 to 2009 and at MaRS Discovery District from 2010 to 2014. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Executive Chairman of Perspecsys Inc. and Interim Executive (VP, Marketing & Business Development) at P&P Optica. Dan was also the Executive Chairman and Founding President & CEO of eSight Corporation from 2006 to 2010. From 2013 to 2019, they were the Co-Founder & Partner at IronSpan Executives Inc. and from 2014 to 2019, they were the CEO & Co-Founder and Chairman & Co-Founder of eleven-x. Since 2019, they have been the General Partner at StandUp Ventures.

Dan Mathers obtained their MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University between 1986 and 1991, majoring in Strategy. Dan obtained their B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University between 1982 and 1986. Dan also attended Sir Allan MacNab between 1976 and 1980. Additionally, they obtained their P.Eng from Professional Engineers Ontario.
