Amber Moserl is the current President at Elgin Public Schools. Amber has over 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, and public relations.
Amber began their career as a Communications Specialist at American Electric Power in 2001. In this role, they were responsible for writing press releases, coordinating media coverage of events, and serving as the company spokesperson.
In 2005, Amber transitioned to the banking industry, taking on the role of Marketing Officer at Arvest Bank. In this role, they oversaw all marketing and advertising efforts for the bank, including copywriting, graphic design, and media placement.
In 2006, Amber returned to the education sector, taking on the role of Director of Media Relations at Cameron University. In this role, they developed and implemented public information campaigns, prepared and distributed press releases and media advisories, and served as the university spokesperson. Amber also coordinated press coverage of university events and managed the design and layout of Cameron Magazine.
In 2008, Amber left Cameron University to take on the role of Regional Communications Manager at Corvias Military Living. In this role, they were responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the company's military housing communities in the southeastern United States.
Amber has been with Elgin Public Schools since 2010, first serving as the Director of Communications before being promoted to President in 2016. In their current role, they are responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the district's
Amber McNeil has a B.S. in Agricultural Communications from Oklahoma State University and an MBA in Business from Cameron University.
