Maren (Mimi) Jung has a diverse work experience. Maren (Mimi) began their career in 2019 as an Accounting Intern for Disability Management Services, Inc. Maren (Mimi) then joined the University of Rochester in 2019 as a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry Laboratory (CHM 132L) and a Workshop Leader for General Chemistry (CHM131 + CHM132). In 2021, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher for the NSF-funded “Engineering Medical Advances at the Interface of Experiments and Computation” Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program associated with the Biomedical Engineering Program at the University of South Carolina. In 2020, they were a Manufacturing Assistant for REC Components and in 2021, they were a Teaching Assistant for Biomaterials Lab (BME245), Signals and Systems (BME230), and Fundamentals of Biomechanics (BME201). Currently, they are a Research Associate I for Elicio Therapeutics and a Process Engineer for Repertoire Immune Medicines.
Maren (Mimi) Jung completed their high school diploma at The MacDuffie School in 2018. Maren (Mimi) then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
