Armen Karamanian, MD, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2010, they began their career as an Investment Professional at Karlin Asset Management, where they worked until 2013. Armen then joined Admire Capital as a Managing Director from March 2013 to December 2016. In 2017, they became a Partner at Lendity, a position they held until March 2021. Armen also had involvement with Kauffman Fellows, where they were a Society Member from 2012 and a Fellow from 2010 to 2012. Most recently, in July 2021, Armen co-founded Eliksa Therapeutics and assumed the role of Co-Founder & CEO.
Armen Karamanian, MD, PhD, began their education in 1996 at Universidad Favaloro where they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, which they completed in 2001. Armen later attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacology. Additionally, in 2006 and 2007, they participated in the Venture Initiation Program at The Wharton School, though the degree obtained during this time is not specified.
