Yair Field

Yair Field is an AI Engineer at Elio since October 2023. Prior to this role, Yair served as a Senior Manager and Staff Deep Learning Engineer at Illumina from January 2019 to July 2023. Yair's academic background includes postdoctoral research positions at Stanford University and the University of Chicago, specializing in computational biology and human population genetics. Yair completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science with a focus on bioinformatics at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2005 to 2012, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, also in the bioinformatics track, from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2002 to 2004.
