Sukhinder Singh

Sukhinder Singh is a prominent figure in the spirits industry, currently serving as a Trustee for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust since December 2021. Sukhinder has held the position of Managing Director at Elixir Distillers since July 2015, where the focus is on creating, blending, and bottling exceptional whiskies and rums. Additionally, Sukhinder has been a Director at Speciality Brands since July 2007, overseeing the distribution of premium spirits and vermouths. From January 1999 to October 2023, Sukhinder was the Managing Director of The Whisky Exchange, the leading specialist online retailer for whiskies and fine spirits, which has continually evolved since its inception. Sukhinder also held the Managing Director role at Speciality Drinks Ltd from October 1999 until 2023, providing fine spirits to high-end establishments in the UK. Earlier career accomplishments include a successful tenure as a Buyer and the restructuring of a family business, which earned the title of Retailer of the Year in 1991. Sukhinder holds a degree in Property Valuation & Finance from City, University of London, and attended Merchant Taylors' School.
