Ivan Teri

Assoc. Director, Program Optimization & Health Systems Strengthening (technical Strat. & Innovation) at Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation

Ivan Teri possesses extensive experience in health systems strengthening, quality improvement, and program optimization, currently serving as a Member at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and as Associate Director for Program Optimization & Health Systems Strengthening at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation since September 2012. With a robust background in multidisciplinary leadership roles, Ivan has led initiatives across various global programs aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of HIV prevention and treatment services in numerous countries and health facilities. Ivan is also engaged in academia as Affiliate Faculty at The George Washington University, contributes as a Peer Reviewer for BMJ Open Quality, and has founded Africa Ni Yetu/Africa is Ours, focusing on Africa-based solutions. Previous roles include board membership at AGPAHI and experience in health quality management at PharmAccess Foundation and EGPAF. Ivan holds a Master’s degree in International Health from Queen Margaret University and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Genetics from the University of Leicester.
