William McClelland has a long and varied career in the finance and venture capital industries. William began their career in 2001 as a member of the Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers. In 2004, they joined Ironwood Capital Management as Managing Director, Head of Research and Member of the Investment & Risk Committee. In this role, they were responsible for investment selection, risk management and due diligence. In 2014, they joined Grace Beauty Capital as a Partner and Portfolio Manager, responsible for sourcing and executing early stage venture investments in consumer, retail technology and e-commerce companies. In 2018, they co-founded Elizabeth Street Ventures, a venture capital firm that funds digital consumer and consumer fintech businesses. William also co-founded Bambike and Bambike Ecotours in 2010, a bamboo bicycle manufacturer and an ecotourism activity in Manila's Intramuros. Recently, they have served as a Board Observer and Board Member for Tiny Organics and Museum of Ice Cream.
William McClelland obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Anthropology from Yale University between 1998 and 2002. William is also a CAIA designee and a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association, as well as a Financial Risk Manager, Certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
