E. Douglas Bomberger is a distinguished academic in the field of musicology, currently serving as a Professor of Music and Chair of the Fine and Performing Arts at Elizabethtown College since July 2005. Prior experience includes roles as a Professor of Musicology and Associate Department Chair at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from August 1994 to July 2005, and as an Assistant Professor of Music at Ithaca College from August 1992 to July 1994, as well as at Goshen College from July 1983 to June 1987. E. Douglas Bomberger earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Historical Musicology from the University of Maryland and obtained a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. E. Douglas Bomberger holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music and French from Goshen College.
