Bjørnar Ovesen

Bjørnar Ovesen has extensive work experience in the Elkem group, holding several roles in various divisions. Bjørnar started their career in 2005 as a Business Analyst and later became the Financial Manager at the Bremanger Silicon Plant. In 2007, they joined Elkem Solar AS as a Group Controller and later became the CFO. In 2015, Ovesen moved to Elkem AS, Silicon Materials Division, where they served as the VP of Sales and Marketing. In 2019, they joined Elkem Carbon as the VP Commercial. Currently, Bjørnar Ovesen is the VP of Sales Silicon Products in Elkem ASA.

Bjørnar Ovesen received a degree in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2004. Additionally, they attended Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) at an undisclosed time, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study.
