Håvard Moe

Håvard Moe is the Senior Vice President of Elkem Technology. Håvard has been with the company since August of 2008 and has held various positions within the company. Håvard is responsible for engineering, project management, and corporate procurement. Håvard has also been a key participant in Elkem's corporate down-sizing project caused by the financial crisis in 2008-09.

Moe started their career with ABB in August of 2000. Håvard was with the company for eight years and held various positions including Manager of Enhanced Operations & Production and member of ABB's business development team for acquisitions of small technology companies. Håvard was also responsible for ABB's Upstream Technology Programme covering gas transport pipelines, on-shore and offshore oil and gas production with product development teams in 5 countries. In 2005, they helped develop a technology organization from 4 to 35 experts within advanced control and optimization of oil and gas plants.

Håvard Moe completed an executive education program in 2014 focused on transitioning to general management at INSEAD. Prior to that, they completed a Ph.D in chemical engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2011 and an MSc in mechanical engineering from NTNU in 2008.
